On my PC the game runs in a window - why?
During the translation the option menu in the Starter application was damaged. For example, if you changed the colordepth you instead switched to "Windowed mode". Please download this hotfix and re-adjust the options: „Download Update“.

I get the error message „Can´t load movies“?
Try to (re)install the VP3 Videocodec. You can find it in the „Codec“ folder on your Restricted Area Install CD or you can download it here: „VP3 Installer Version 3.2.6.1.exe“. Additional hint: It doesn´t work with the codec fix for Onboard Soundcards from the game „Freelancer“ (Microsoft / Digital Anvil), as this fix modifys the video codec.

Which CD is the game CD?“
It´s CD 1.

What can be the reason for graphical problems ("Can´t open DirectX Screen", strange lines etc.)?
- Make sure that you use the latest offical drivers for your graphics card.
For example, don´t use Beta-Drivers like the Catalyst 4.9 hotfix.
- Deactivate Refresh-Log features (like ATI Refreshforce). Don´t force a specific Hertz frequency! The game runs at 60Hz.
- Make sure that you use the default options of your graphics driver. Functions like „ATI-Truform“, Fullscreen Antialising (FSAA) or deactivated VSYNC can lead to graphical glitches.
- Deactivate "AGP FastWrite" und "Write Combining". This can lead to errors, especially with ATI 9800 chips.

I have problems with the controls - what may be the reason?
Try to deactivate special mouse drivers like „Microsoft IntelliMouse“.
The „Nvidia Desktop Manager“ should also be deactivated.

The Sound has sometimes time outs - what can be the problem?
If you have a AMD Prozessor with "Cool'n'Quiet" mode, try to deactivate this.

I have performance problems in the city - what can I do?
- Before you start the game, quit all programs - especially antivirus software.
- Defrag your hard drive.
- Activate the "Ultra DMA" function of your hard disc (you can do that in the BIOS).

How can I switch between weapons with a button?
Our testers told us that they want a instant healing button instead, so we exchanged it last minute.
